1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are between you and Zac Manken Pty Ltd (ABN 96 689 511 920), trading as Traverse. By using www.traversewealth.com.au or app.traversewealth.com.au, booking a discovery call, or using the Exit Assistant, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use them.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
2. What Traverse is not
Nothing Traverse provides is personal financial, tax, legal or migration advice.
Everything on this website, everything the Exit Assistant produces, and everything discussed on a discovery call is general information only. None of it takes into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.
Specifically, and to be unambiguous about it:
- We do not provide financial product advice and do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence. Nothing here is a recommendation to acquire, dispose of or hold any financial product.
- We do not provide tax agent services and are not registered with the Tax Practitioners Board. We do not prepare or lodge returns, and nothing here is advice you can rely on in dealing with the Australian Taxation Office.
- We do not provide immigration assistance and are not registered migration agents. Nothing here is advice about a visa application or migration status.
- We do not provide legal advice and are not a law firm.
Cross-border tax and residency outcomes depend entirely on your individual circumstances and on the law as it stands at the time. The law changes, and it frequently changes in this area. Before you act on anything you learn from Traverse, get advice from a suitably qualified professional who has looked at your full position.
Using this site, the Exit Assistant or a discovery call does not create a client relationship, a fiduciary relationship, or any professional duty of care beyond these terms.
3. The discovery call
The discovery call is a free, 30-minute conversation. It is offered at our discretion and we may decline or reschedule a booking.
It is a general discussion about your situation. No advice is given on it, no professional relationship is created by it, and nothing said on it should be acted on without your own advice. Notes we take are covered by our Privacy Policy.
We do not record calls without telling you and obtaining your agreement first.
4. The Exit Assistant
The Exit Assistant is an AI tool that asks about your position and produces a written summary of where you stand and the kinds of setups that tend to suit someone in a similar position. It is sold for a one-off fee, with access delivered immediately.
The Exit Assistant is generated by an AI model and can be wrong.
It can misunderstand what you tell it, produce information that is out of date, or state something confidently and incorrectly. Its output is a starting point for a conversation with a qualified professional — not a plan, not a recommendation, and not something to act on by itself.
Its output is only as good as what you put in. If you give it inaccurate or incomplete information, the summary will be inaccurate too.
We give no guarantee about any outcome, result, tax saving or financial benefit. Any figure, example or scenario the tool produces is illustrative. It is not a projection of your results, and results differ for everyone.
What you type into the Exit Assistant is recorded and stored. Read the Privacy Policy before you use it.
5. Access, and purchases made before 25 August 2026
The Exit Assistant is free. You give us your first name and email address and it opens — there is no charge, no card and no subscription. What you get is a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for you alone, and we may change, suspend or withdraw a free service at any time.
Because access is tied to you, please do not pass your access around. Anyone else can have their own, on the same terms, for nothing.
If you bought the Exit Assistant before 25 August 2026, when it cost $49: prices were in Australian dollars and shown at checkout, payment was processed by Stripe, and access was granted as soon as payment succeeded. Your access has not been taken away and your receipt link still works. The following applied to that purchase and still does.
Because access was digital and delivered immediately, we did not offer refunds for change of mind — including if you decided you no longer wanted it, if you did not use it, or if the information turned out not to suit your situation. The Exit Assistant becoming free later is a change of price, not a fault, and is not itself a ground for a refund.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, and they apply whether you paid for something or not. If what we supplied has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or a replacement, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have it fixed within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms limits that.
If something has gone wrong, email zacmanken@gmail.com and tell us what happened. We would rather sort it out than argue about it.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information. The output depends on it.
- Verify anything material with a qualified professional before you act on it.
- Use the services lawfully. Do not use them to plan or carry out tax evasion, to conceal assets or income from a revenue authority, or for any other unlawful purpose. There is a real difference between lawful structuring and evasion, and these terms only cover the first.
- Keep your access details to yourself.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the services.
7. Intellectual property
The Traverse name, logo, website, written content, the Exit Assistant and the system behind it belong to us or our licensors. You may read the site and use what we give you access to for your own personal purposes. You may not copy, republish, resell, redistribute or use any of it to build a competing product, and you may not share your access with anyone else.
The summary the Exit Assistant produces for you is yours to keep and use for your own purposes, including showing it to your accountant or adviser.
8. Availability
We do not promise the services will be available without interruption or free of faults. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of them, including the Exit Assistant, at any time. We rely on third-party providers, and an outage on their side is outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
This section is subject to the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in it excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability under a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply, at our option.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
- you use the services at your own risk, and they are provided on an "as is" basis;
- we are not liable for any decision you make, or do not make, based on anything Traverse provides;
- we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, savings or data;
- we are not liable for any tax, penalty, interest or liability imposed on you by any revenue or government authority in any country;
- our total liability for all claims connected with the services is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the services, or your unlawful use of anything we provide.
11. Third parties
We use third-party providers — including HubSpot, Calendly, Cloudflare, Anthropic and, for purchases made before 25 August 2026, Stripe — and we may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, conduct, availability or terms. Where you deal with them, you do so under their terms.
If we suggest another professional to you, that is a suggestion and not a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of their work. Satisfy yourself about anyone you engage.
12. Suspending access
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, use the services unlawfully, or behave abusively toward us. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will normally ask you to fix it first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always sits at this address with the date it was last changed at the top, and it applies from the date it is published. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept it. The terms that applied when you bought something continue to govern that purchase, which is why section 5 still describes a price that no longer applies to new users.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply.
